Junior System Support

1920, recently awarded VFX Company of The Year at The CICLOPE Festival 2025, is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Systems Support technician to join its growing VFX studio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is passionate about technology, enjoys problem-solving, and desires to be part of a creative, fast-paced environment.

Must Have

• Provide day-to-day technical support for artists and production teams (connection issues, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Assist with onboarding new joiners and setting up their accounts and machines
• Configure and maintain workstations across macOS, Linux, and Windows
• Maintain and update hardware, software, and licenses
• Manage user accounts and permissions across studio systems
• Keep the office tech environment tidy and functional - from cable management to workstation organisation
• Support general IT operations and escalate issues when needed
• A keen interest in technology and IT systems
• Comfortable working across different operating systems (Mac, Linux, Windows)
• A proactive, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Organised and dependable - able to prioritise tasks in a busy studio environment
