(Junior) VFX Artist

##### Your mission

We are Vertigo Games, developers and publishers of top-end VR titles like Metro Awakening, Arizona Sunshine, After the Fall and The 7th Guest. Our Amsterdam studio has started development of our next set of games, following Metro Awakening, and we are looking to recruit a (Junior) VFX Artist who can aid us in our mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create high quality VFX in a range of techniques and styles.
• Research and implement new, innovative VFX techniques.
• Estimate and plan your tasks together with production.

##### Your profile

• Experience as a VFX Artist typically gained over 1+ year(s) and showcasing real-time VFX work through a reel/portfolio.
• Good artistic insight and feeling for timing and animation.
• Being able to create all the required art for VFX such as models and textures.
• Good knowledge on all things directly linked to VFX such as materials, node based workflows (e.g. blueprint or Houdini), etc.
• Knowledge of special effects software (e.g. Unreal, Embergen, Houdini & Blender).
• Self-motivated team-player that is able to receive and provide objective feedback.

##### Bonus points for

• Working ability with Unreal Engine's Niagara System.
• Mobile / VR experience.
