As a Key Account Manager - Assistant General Manager at Paytm, you will be responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly targets related to merchant acquisition, transaction value, and transaction volume. You will lead by example, acquiring new clients and managing key relationships with existing ones. This role requires a quota-driven sales approach, effective collaboration with internal stakeholders (product, growth, finance), and advocating for merchant needs within the organization. You'll need strong POS/EDC system knowledge and a deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, passionate about working in a fast-growing environment, and skilled at explaining complex solutions to diverse customers.
Must Have
- 7+ years Key Account Management/Sales experience in Fintech/Payments (POS/EDC focus)
- Hands-on POS/EDC system experience
- Strong understanding of Fintech ecosystem
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- Quota-driven sales experience
- Ability to articulate complex solutions
