Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Sales Executive to drive significant business growth within our key accounts, e.g. Siemens, Stadler and Alstom, for the railway industry. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand our railway market share and cultivate strong, long-term relationships. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, deep understanding of component sales (relays, circuit breakers, sensors), and a proven track record of success in managing complex sales cycles within large, multinational organizations.
Must have:
  • Drive revenue growth for railway products across Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe
  • Develop and execute KEY account plans for Siemens, Stadler, and Alstom
  • Lead complete sales process from lead generation to contract closure
  • Achieve sales targets by expanding product lines within accounts
  • Maintain deep technical expertise in relays, circuit breakers, sensors, and components
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with global teams at key accounts
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, analyze performance data, and track KPIs
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of technical sales experience
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets
  • Strong technical knowledge of relays, circuit breakers, sensors, cables
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CRM (SalesForce) software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 40-50% as required
  • Based out of The Netherlands
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
Good to have:
  • Experience selling into key accounts
  • Other relevant languages

  • Lead complete sales process from lead generation to contract closure, including technical presentations, negotiations, and forecasting
  • Achieve sales targets by expanding product lines within accounts and identifying new business opportunities
  • Maintain deep technical expertise in relays, circuit breakers, sensors, and related components to translate customer requirements into solutions
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to identify growth opportunities
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with global teams at key accounts as their primary point of contact
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, analyze performance data, and track KPIs to inform strategic decisions

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of success in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong technical knowledge of relays, circuit breakers, sensors, cables, and related components.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM (SalesForce) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience selling into key accounts is a significant plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 40-50% and as required.
  • Based out of The Netherlands
  • Fluent in English and Dutch; other relevant languages are a plus.

What will your typical day look like?

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand our railway market share and cultivate strong, long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, deep understanding of component sales (relays, circuit breakers, sensors), and a proven track record of success in managing complex sales cycles within large, multinational organizations.

Successful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations.
