Job Summary

Do you have a passion for wet-chemical and physical analyses? Do you enjoy working with methods for moisture determination, starch, protein, and other quality parameters? Then this position is exactly what you are looking for. For our laboratory in Nijmegen, we are looking for a Lab Analyst. As a Lab Analyst, you will work within the Expertise & Research Center (ERC) of Duynie Group. In our modern laboratory, you will perform product and process controls on animal feed and starch products. You will work together with a team of approximately ten colleagues. Duynie Group has independently certified GMP+ FSA B10 laboratories, where raw materials and end products are checked for quality and safety.

Must Have

  • MBO-level of work and thinking, preferably with a background in Chemistry, Life Science Technology, Biology, or as a Pharmacy Assistant.
  • Accurate, quality-oriented work attitude.
  • Internship or work experience in a similar laboratory function.
  • Monitor the status and specifications of laboratory equipment.
  • Perform analyses on pH, moisture, starch, protein, fat, cellulose, ash, and viscosity, among others.
  • Work with techniques such as NIR and the Kjeldahl method.
  • Accurately register all results in the LIMS system.
  • Work according to the applicable GMP+ B10 quality requirements.

Good to Have

  • Experience with wet-chemical and physical analyses (such as the Kjeldahl method) is a strong plus.
