Lead Product Engineer

Cadence is seeking an RF/microwave design engineer with expertise in Microwave Office or other high-frequency EDA software, interested in software development and validation. The role involves collaborating with R&D on new features, developing automated testing infrastructure, providing technical assistance and training for AWR Design Environment, assisting with software implementation into customer methodologies, and supporting technical evaluations and benchmarks to ensure software enhancements meet target problems.

Must Have

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• RF/MW circuit design course work or industry experience
• Experience with Python programming language
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills

Good to Have

• Proficiency in a Linux environment
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso or Allegro
• Experience with EM Simulation software
• Experience with automated software testing

Job Overview:

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with research and development on new feature development.
• Developing automated testing infrastructure.
• Provide technical assistance and training on the use of the AWR Design Environment software products.

• Verify that software enhancements adequately address their target problems.

Job Qualifications:
