Job Summary

This role is for a highly organized and detail-oriented Learning Center (LC) Admin & Support Manager at Motorola Solutions. The manager will oversee LC administration, coordinate process improvements, manage training logistics, and serve as a primary liaison for inquiries. Key responsibilities include managing the LC support team, developing support matrices, resolving user issues via a trouble ticket system, generating reports, and performing data administration within the Learning Management System (LMS). The role also involves maintaining technical knowledge of e-learning standards like SCORM and AICC for troubleshooting.

Must Have

  • Manage overall Learning Center (LC) administration
  • Coordinate and implement improved processes between LC and other training functions
  • Consult on training processes including scheduling, enrollments, rosters, waitlists, and course logistics
  • Serve as primary training liaison for internal and external inquiries
  • Directly manage the LC support team
  • Develop, create, and maintain the Learning Center Support Matrix (SLA/troubleshooting guide)
  • Utilize trouble ticket tracking system to identify, research, and resolve user questions and issues
  • Generate and manage standard, custom, and ad-hoc training reports
  • Track and report on training outcomes and maintain comprehensive training records
  • Perform data administration within the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Maintain technical knowledge of e-learning standards such as SCORM and AICC
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot related issues (SCORM/AICC)
  • 3+ years of direct experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) administration and management
  • Demonstrated experience managing training processes
  • Proven expertise in data administration and reporting within an LMS environment
  • Knowledge of SCORM and AICC standards
  • Experience with e-learning tools like Captivate, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Must be a creative thinker, highly motivated, and self-managing
  • Ability to coordinate and organize multiple tasks and activities simultaneously to meet project schedules and goals with minimal direct supervision

Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Learning Center (LC) Admin & Support Manager to oversee the administration and support functions of our corporate training environment. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the Learning Center and coordinating process improvements across various training functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Center Administration & Process Management

  • Manage the overall Learning Center (LC) administration, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Coordinate and implement improved processes and procedures between the LC and other training functions.
  • Consult on the management of training processes, including scheduling, enrollments, rosters, waitlists, and course logistics.
  • Serve as the primary training liaison for internal and external inquiries via email or telephone, providing information on training options to employees, partners, and customers.
  • Perform other assigned administrative duties as required.

Support & Reporting:

  • Directly manage the LC support team, ensuring high-quality and timely service.
  • Develop, create, and maintain the Learning Center Support Matrix (SLA/troubleshooting guide).
  • Utilize the trouble ticket tracking system to identify, research, and resolve user questions and issues.
  • Generate and manage standard, custom, and ad-hoc report requests related to training.
  • Track and report on training outcomes and maintain comprehensive training records.

System Maintenance & Technical Support:

  • Perform data administration within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain technical knowledge of e-learning standards such as SCORM and AICC, and be able to effectively troubleshoot related issues.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of direct experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) administration and management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing training processes (scheduling, enrollments, rosters, etc.).

Target Base Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) administration and management or similar business experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
