Must Have
- Japanese national or foreign national currently residing in Japan with permanent residency
- Tertiary qualification in Science and/or Information Technology
- 2+ years relevant work experience programming in a computer language
- Understanding of relational database and structured query language (SQL)
- Excellent organisational, time management and commitment to delivery
- Excellent Japanese and English communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Ability to accommodate overnight travel

Job Description

Successful candidates will ideally have worked in a laboratory and experience in logical computer programming. Previous informatics, consultancy, or business analysis experience is beneficial. You will also receive internal training and mentoring prior to working on customer projects. This is an exciting role with a variety of responsibilities and travel throughout Japan.
What You Will Do
- Analyse and document customer requirements and business processes.
- Translate business requirements to application functional requirements.
- Configure the LIMS solution to meet the customer needs.
- Deliver training courses to customers.
- Assist customers with their validation and testing stages appropriate to their industry.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide direction to customers.
- Travel to customer sites for implementation and configuration projects.
- Learn industry specific processes, requirements and operations; specialise through career progression.
What You Will Need
- Priority will be given to Japanese nationals, or foreign nationals currently residing in Japan with permanent residency.
