Job Description

The Logistics Analyst III will be responsible for supervising and coordinating logistics support activities within the organization. This role involves managing logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and services, and supporting overall supply chain processes. The Logistics Support Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Additionally, the Logistics Support Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to foster a strong and collaborative relationship.
Must Have:
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments to the client and monitor the execution of client requests (spare parts and repairs) until delivery.
  • Manage batches of spare parts and repairs to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and compliance with end-to-end Turnaround Time (TAT), as defined in the contract.
  • Manage the logistics chain for spare parts/repair requests, ensuring optimal functioning to satisfy users, in compliance with contractual commitments, and Thales' interests by taking only necessary actions and anticipating any actions required to fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Keep Front Office Digital databases and tools updated for requests within scope.
  • Manage cost, time, and quality requirements, as well as handle risks and opportunities. Implement action plans in collaboration with the Customer Service Manager.
  • Act as an interface with the client on matters assigned by the PM, including providing expected delivery times.
  • Manage performance indicators and escalate alerts to the project manager regarding any risks to performance targets.
  • Oversee activities related to Export Control and involved services.
  • Lead client acceptance presentations.
  • Higher education in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the global supply chain
  • Intermediate English proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Summary

The Logistics Analyst III will be responsible for supervising and coordinating logistics support activities within the organization. This role involves managing logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and services, and supporting overall supply chain processes. The Logistics Support Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Additionally, the Logistics Support Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to foster a strong and collaborative relationship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments to the client and monitor the execution of client requests (spare parts and repairs) until delivery. As a delegate of the Program Manager or Customer Service Manager (PM or CSM), you are responsible for meeting all requirements within this scope, in particular:
  • Manage batches of spare parts and repairs to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and compliance with end-to-end Turnaround Time (TAT), as defined in the contract.
  • Manage the logistics chain for spare parts/repair requests, ensuring optimal functioning to satisfy:
  • Users, in compliance with contractual commitments.
  • Thales' interests, taking only necessary actions and anticipating any actions required to fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Keep Front Office Digital databases and tools updated for requests within your scope.
  • Manage cost, time, and quality requirements, as well as handle risks and opportunities. Implement action plans in collaboration with the Customer Service Manager.
