This role involves identifying and providing competitive insights to drive sales strategy, offering deal support, and executing programs. The ideal candidate will conduct research, provide insights, and support sales teams to win in a competitive market, focusing on LATAM. Strong communication, organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

  • Identify, develop, and deliver enablement to equip Sales representatives with competitive strategies to win.
  • Stay tuned to market signals (competitive messaging, trends, etc.) to identify opportunities to engage.

The Salesforce Competitive Intelligence team is seeking a curious self-starter to fill the role of Manager/Senior Manager on our scale team.

This person will be aligned with the Small and Medium Business organization and will identify and provide competitive insights that help drive the strategy and success of the Sales teams through competitive deal support, programs, and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will easily toggle between research, insights, deal support, and program execution. This individual takes pride in helping Salesforce win in a highly competitive market. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to manage deliverables across cross-functional teams and multiple time zones.

Key qualities for success in this role include: identifying and understanding the competitive landscape of Sales teams, developing strong stakeholder relationships with Organizational Unit leadership, managing complex business processes, demonstrating analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, showing technological aptitude, and bringing entrepreneurial drive, results orientation, and a strong work ethic to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Think strategically to provide advice to senior sales leadership.
  • Identify gaps, recommend actions to sales leaders, define plans, and drive execution.

  • Identify, develop, and deliver enablement to equip Sales representatives with competitive strategies to win.
  • Stay tuned to market signals (competitive messaging, trends, etc.) to identify opportunities to engage.

Required Skills

  • Pre-sales experience in LATAM as a Solutions Engineer ,Technical Architect or Enterprise Architect.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, networking, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • High sense of urgency in responding to critical business questions.
  • Curious, analytical, innovative, and creative — with the execution skills to make it happen
  • 5+ years of technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, Product Manager, or Engineer.
  • Internal understanding of Salesforce’s current data, reporting, governance tools, and sales processes is highly preferable.
  • Experience working with sales teams across multiple locations is desirable.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
