Job Description

As the Manager, Global Business Development, you will lead and develop a global team of inbound and outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs) responsible for generating a significant portion of Reltio’s qualified sales pipeline. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and scaling a high-velocity, customer-focused engagement model to meet and exceed pipeline goals. You will optimize lead management and prospecting strategies, including Account Based Everything (ABX), and collaborate with marketing, sales enablement, and sales operations to align pipeline objectives with broader go-to-market strategies, driving measurable outcomes and talent development.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with Account Based Marketing, Account-Based Selling, and Account-Based Everything top-of-funnel processes.
  • Knowledge of sales qualification and sales methodologies (e.g., BANT, MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN).
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS, data management, cloud solutions, or AI-driven platforms.
Must Have:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs to consistently meet or exceed qualified pipeline objectives.
  • Optimize inbound and outbound prospecting processes, including opportunity qualification, sequence execution, and lead management.
  • Implement and oversee performance management practices that foster accountability, motivation, and professional development.
  • Partner with talent acquisition to recruit, interview, and onboard new BDR team members.
  • Use KPIs and data-driven insights to evaluate performance, guide decision-making, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales enablement, and sales operations to ensure alignment of pipeline strategies.
  • Recommend and implement changes to policies, procedures, and processes that improve operational effectiveness.
  • Foster a team culture that emphasizes recognition, engagement, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of best practices in sales automation, sequencing, and engagement strategies.
  • Contribute to the strategic scaling of the business development function to support company growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field; or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • 3–5 years in a business development, sales development, or inside sales role, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • 2+ years leading or managing a BDR/SDR team.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed pipeline or sales targets in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience scaling teams, implementing process improvements, and driving operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive data-based decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SalesLoft).
  • Working collaboratively with Sales Account Executives and Operations.

Job Summary:

As the Manager, Global Business Development, you will lead and develop a global team of inbound and outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs) responsible for generating a significant portion of Reltio’s qualified sales pipeline by calling into prospective clients for Reltio’s data-driven applications platform. You will coach, mentor, and scale a high-velocity, customer-focused engagement model while ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds pipeline goals.

This role requires strong leadership in optimizing lead management and prospecting strategies, including modern engagement practices such as Account Based Everything (ABX). You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales enablement, and sales operations to align pipeline objectives with broader go-to-market strategies. Success in this role requires the ability to drive measurable outcomes, develop talent, and influence process improvements across the organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee performance management practices that foster accountability, motivation, and professional development.
  • Partner with talent acquisition to recruit, interview, and onboard new BDR team members.
  • Use KPIs and data-driven insights to evaluate performance, guide decision-making, and recommend improvements.
