Job Summary

Lead Lytx's Mid-Market Key Account Management (KAM) team, focusing on expanding sales within the existing client base with a hunter mentality. Responsibilities include onboarding and developing team members, guiding complex deals, and ensuring quarterly quota achievement. This role is crucial for migrating mid-market clients to the latest hardware and solutions, managing cross-departmental relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Must Have

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing Mid-Market sales team
  • Support the team to identify and pursue expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Establish and track key sales performance metrics, ensuring consistent achievement of targets
  • Create proposals and negotiate contract renewals with migration plans to new technology
  • Build and facilitate close rapport and relationships with Marketing, Customer Success, Technical Support, Product, Billing and Order Management
  • Ensure individual team members are achieving quarterly quotas through continuous training and coaching
  • Provide product and marketing teams with feedback to ensure competitive solutions
  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the B2B software industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in SaaS, cloud-based solutions, or enterprise software
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in scaling and managing high-performing sales teams
  • Expertise in sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning
  • Experience in telematics or related SaaS solutions including applications in commercial transportation
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience working in a Mid-Market or Enterprise sales environment
  • Proven ability to build and manage mid-market sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Job Description

You’ll be leading our Mid-Market Key Account Management (KAM) team who are the farmers for our Mid-Market Sales team. Even though the team will be selling into our installed client base, the team will have a hunter mentality for finding and closing business. You’ll be responsible for onboarding and developing team members, providing guidance and support with complex deals, and ensuring the team hits its quarterly quotas. You’ll be a key member of the team working to migrate our current mid-market clients to our newest hardware and solutions with our most strategic accounts.

You’ll Get To:

  • Build and facilitate close rapport and relationships with Marketing, Customer Success, Technical Support, Product, Billing and Order Management to set your team up for success.
  • Ensuring individual team members are achieving quarterly quotas, through continuous training and coaching through novel situations and increasingly complex customer situations.
  • Provide product and marketing teams with feedback to ensure the company’s solutions remain competitive and aligned with market demand.
  • Onsite travel to strategic accounts with your team.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the B2B software industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in SaaS, cloud-based solutions, or enterprise software.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in scaling and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Expertise in sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning.
  • Experience in telematics or related SaaS solutions including applications in commercial transportation
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience working in a Mid-Market or Enterprise sales environment, either in a direct sales role or as key team member, directly involved in day-to-day sales activity
  • Proven ability to build and manage mid-market sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills that effectively engage all levels of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
