This pivotal Manager, Performance Marketing role at PayPal focuses on spearheading and optimizing Consumer Financial Services paid media campaigns across the funnel to achieve growth for both brand and performance objectives. The position requires a dynamic individual capable of collaborating cross-functionally with product marketing, analytics, brand, legal, martech, and media agency teams. The role will leverage data-driven insights to drive innovative campaigns, with responsibilities including developing customer-focused omnichannel campaigns, optimizing marketing strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and leading A/B testing to drive revenue and enhance performance.
Good To Have:

This role will leverage data-driven insights to drive innovative campaigns for the Consumer Financial Services team, and our ideal candidate is highly influential, organized, and accountable.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customer-focused, omnichannel campaigns to drive traffic, capture demand, and generate revenue
  • Leverage data and technology to optimize marketing strategies and campaign performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals
  • Identify growth opportunities by analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources
  • Track, measure, and report program performance, optimizing for efficiency and scalability
  • Lead A/B testing and iterative optimization of campaigns and marketing programs
  • Optimize team structure and processes to foster a culture of high performance and innovation

Expected Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively strategize, manage, execute, and report on new areas of growth across the paid media marketing funnel
  • Owns paid media agency strategic planning, roadmapping, and identifying improvements to ways of working to drive efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing teams to ensure on-time media delivery, top -quality execution, and an iterative testing cadence
  • Leverage data-driven approach to analyze and drive campaign optimizations alongside ROI, Analytics, and Business Intelligence teams
  • Manage financial services media workstreams and stakeholders across global markets including (but not limited to) UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, AU, CA, and MX.
  • Support product marketing leads in business casing and executing high growth strategies and strategically incorporate product innovations into paid media messaging
  • Partner with privacy, risk, legal, and compliance to source and evaluate external opportunities for enhancing media program
  • Own paid media customer journey through landing page and app store testing to drive higher conversion rates
  • Champion changes to operational efficiencies, identifying cross-functional solutions to streamline media workflows
  • Guides publisher partner relationships with core channels partners (i.e. Google, Meta, etc.)
  • Drive media learning agendas at the channel and publisher level through the lens of audience, creative, format, and tactical testing
  • Partner closely with Analytics to continue to build and evolve paid media incrementality story
  • Drive connectivity to CRM/ASO/Web ensure strategies are cohesive and aligned across paid and owned and drive monthly readouts to these stakeholders
  • Stays updated with the latest industry trends and identifies new opportunities to drive optimal campaign performance
  • Partners with Martech, Media Enablement, and Media Ops to drive solutions forward to strengthen paid media measurement and platform signals through business casing for leadership approval

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with experience across the funnel
  • In-depth knowledge of paid media channels
  • Familiarity with managing and scaling linear TV, OOH, and other traditional paid media programs as well as performance marketing
