Job Summary
Responsible for the coordination of daily operations and maintenance of critical environments, primarily the Aurora, IL data center. This role involves enforcing Lease/SLA's, supporting IT data center engineering, managing PM contracts, consulting on construction projects, and maintaining documentation. The manager acts as a first responder for infrastructure issues, making operational and financial decisions to ensure minimal business disruption.
Must Have
- Enforce Lease/SLA’s with Cyrus 1 to ensure compliance
- Support IT data center engineering and colo operations
- Procure and Manage all PM contracts including fire/life safety, generators, UPS, utilities
- Consult on and value engineer all construction projects
- Create and maintain reliable and accurate documentation performance monitoring related to day to day infrastructure operations
- Create and maintain space plans in CADD
- First responder for all infrastructure issues. Must have ability to asses problem (power outage, HVAC outage, etc.) and solve problem in a very short period of time to ensure no to minimal disruption to the business
- This role requires the employee to make operational and financial decisions from budgeting to value engineering to problem solving
- Possess a solid working knowledge and experience with Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, Chilled Water Systems, Building Automation Systems and Fire Systems particularly at DC3
- Member and Licensed by local 399 International Union of operating engineers

The pay ranges for this role based on location are: Chicago: $105,800-$176,300 Aurora/Champaign, IL: $100,400-$167,400 . Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant).
