Job Description

This role is for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks, along with SQL, Python, and PySpark, to deliver clean, reliable data for analytics tools such as Power BI and Copilot. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining Fabric data pipelines, developing Fabric Data Agents, performing data wrangling, and implementing ETL/ELT workflows.
Good To Have:
  • Exposure to medallion architecture and data mesh concepts
  • Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools
Must Have:
  • Good experience in data engineering with hands-on delivery of end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks in a production environment
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and transformation
  • Experience with data processing, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing solutions
  • Familiarity with PySpark and Fabric-native tools (e.g., Notebooks, Data Activator)
  • Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Key Vaults, Data Factory)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll bring a solid background in data engineering and hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, working with SQL, Python, and PySpark to deliver clean, reliable data for analytics tools like Power BI and Copilot.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., Lakehouse, OneLake)
  • Develop and configure Fabric Data Agents to securely connect to on-prem/cloud sources, enabling curated data domains for consumption by Copilot, Power BI, and other analytics tools
  • Perform data wrangling, cleansing, and transformation using PySpark, SQL, and Python
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows to process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data across diverse sources
  • Support production environments with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions
  • Document pipeline logic, data models, and operational procedures

What You Need to Succeed

  • Good experience in data engineering, with hands-on delivery of end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks in a production environment
