We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and project management, with experience in developing and delivering high-quality architectural solutions. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from conceptual design through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Create and develop architectural designs that meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and project objectives. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress. Prepare and present design proposals, addressing client feedback and incorporating changes as needed.
- Coordination: Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate various project components and ensure seamless coordination throughout the design and construction phases.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and review architectural documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details. Ensure that all documentation complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, address any issues, and ensure that the project is being executed according to design specifications.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior architects and design staff, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the firm's quality standards and project requirements. Conduct quality checks and address any discrepancies or issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management. Experience with commercial and/or residential projects is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with client presentations and public speaking is a plus.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standards is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
