- You will take charge of the conception and balancing of specific gameplay functionalities, in collaboration with artists and programmers to guarantee a fluid and engaging game experience.
- You will have the freedom to test new ideas and innovate to push the limits of Level Design.
- You will take charge of level prototyping and ensure the regular updating of Level Design documents so that they are clear and accessible to the entire team.
- You will manage level testing in close collaboration with the QA team to guarantee their quality and conformity to project objectives.
The fundamentals for success in this role
- You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Level Design on one or more published video games.
- You master the different phases of level conception (block out, prototypes, successive passes) and know how to translate design intentions into engaging gameplay.
- You have experience with scripting tools and game engines.
- You are very creative and possess a solid video game culture, especially in the narrative-adventure genre.
- You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- You pay attention to detail while maintaining efficiency in the production process and adherence to schedules.
- You like to share your ideas and learn from others.
