Job Summary
Asobo Studio, with over 20 years of experience, has developed 25 games for PC and consoles, including well-known licenses and innovative creations. Currently, over 300 employees work on Microsoft Flight Simulator, the A Plague Tale franchise, and HoloForge (the studio's XR department). The studio aims to create exceptional and memorable interactive experiences. This role offers the opportunity to join an experienced and passionate team focused on third-person action/adventure games, strengthening the Producing pole for an upcoming production.
Must Have
- Have an overall view of the project and its progress
- Follow the game's narrative segment: writing, in-game animations, cinematics, motion capture, sparkling, recording, localization
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (Narrative Design, Writing, Animations, Cinematic Direction, actors, service providers)
- Ensure fluid communication and effective coordination between development teams
- Track task progress and ensure clear, precise reporting
- Ensure production deadlines, intermediate deliveries, and milestones are met
- Organize and follow up on reviews and retrospectives
- Participate in daily meetings and identify actions to implement
- Update schedules and tracking tools (ADO, Excel, etc.)
- Assist in task prioritization with Leads
- Identify risks and obstacles, inform the Executive Producer, and actively contribute to finding solutions
- Provide strategic insight on builds, integrating market trends and player expectations, and guide the team with recommendations to enrich gameplay experience and game identity
- 5+ years of experience in the video game industry in a similar role
- Good understanding of production challenges
- Knowledge of the video game market, its trends, and player expectations
- Ability to analyze games and formulate strategic and constructive quality feedback
- Proficiency with production tracking tools (Excel, ADO, or equivalents)
- Ability to work in a team, build strong relationships, and work autonomously
- Ability to facilitate clear, effective, and productive meetings
- Excellent at gathering information, synthesizing essentials, and constructive critical thinking
- Fluent in oral and written French and English

- Experience working on the production of a narrative action/adventure game

Your team
Under the supervision of Brice, Executive Producer, you will join a team of 3 producers, and you will work in close collaboration with all other project trades.
Your role will be to facilitate daily production, ensuring good coordination between teams, quickly detecting blockages, and contributing to finding solutions.
Your missions
- You will have an overall view of the project and its progress.
- You will follow the game's narrative segment: writing, in-game animations and cinematics, motion capture sessions, sparkling, recording, localization.
- You will work in collaboration with internal teams (Narrative Design, Writing, Animations, Cinematic Direction) and external teams (actors, service providers).
- You will ensure fluid communication and effective coordination between development teams.
- You will track task progress and ensure clear and precise reporting.
- You will ensure compliance with production deadlines, intermediate deliveries, and milestones.
- You will organize and follow up on reviews and retrospectives.
- You will participate in daily meetings and identify actions to implement.
- You will update schedules and tracking tools (ADO, Excel, etc.).
- You will help prioritize tasks with the Leads.
- You will identify risks and obstacles, inform the Executive Producer, and actively contribute to finding solutions.
- You will bring your strategic perspective on builds, integrating market trends and player expectations, and guide the team with recommendations to enrich the gameplay experience and the game's identity.
The fundamentals for success in this role
- You have 5 years of experience or more in the video game industry, in a similar position, allowing you to fully understand the production challenges.
- You have a good knowledge of the video game market, its trends, and player expectations, and you closely observe competing productions and new releases.
- You know how to analyze a game and formulate strategic and constructive quality feedback, based on your video game culture.
- You are comfortable with production tracking tools (Excel, ADO, or equivalents).
- You enjoy working in a team, building strong relationships, and you also know how to work autonomously.
- You know how to transform a meeting into a clear, efficient, and productive moment.
- You excel at collecting all information, synthesizing the essential while having a constructive critical mind.
- You communicate easily both orally and in writing in French and English.
