Currently, over 300 employees work on Microsoft Flight Simulator, A Plague Tale, and HoloForge (XR department). The studio aims to create exceptional and memorable interactive experiences. This UI Art Designer role offers the opportunity to contribute to a legendary video game franchise known for its high-quality standards, working on an innovative and demanding UI project in a stimulating environment.
Must Have
- Very good knowledge of interface design and ergonomics
- Excellent artistic sense, especially in iconography, typography, and HUD elements
- A keen eye for composition, clarity, and readability
- Ability to adapt to a pre-existing style and technical constraints
- Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD
- Proficiency in integration into a real-time 3D game engine
- Experience with configuration management and versioning tools (Perforce, Git)
- Operational level in French (written and oral)
- Operational level in English (written and oral)
Good to Have
- First experience in the video game sector
- Proficiency in After Effects

Your team
Under the responsibility of Sébastien, UI Director, you will join the project's UI pole and collaborate daily with designers, programmers, and producers.
Your missions
After a training period to master the project's graphic charter and our tools, you will be responsible for:
- Creating animated designs and mockups for menus, in-game interfaces, or game features, based on the existing artistic direction, as well as their integration
- Designing coherent, ergonomic UIs adapted to needs
- Working with designers/UX to solve readability and ergonomics problems
- Collaborating with programmers to solve technical and implementation problems
The fundamentals for succeeding in this role
- You have very good knowledge of interface design and ergonomics
- You possess an excellent artistic sense, especially in iconography, typography, and HUD elements
- You have a keen eye for composition, clarity, and readability
- You know how to adapt to a pre-existing style as well as to technical constraints
- You are an expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD
- You master integration into a real-time 3D game engine
- You have already used configuration management and versioning tools (Perforce, Git)
- You demonstrate curiosity, a good team spirit, and effective communication
- You are interested in technological watch
- You have an operational level in French and English (written and oral)
