BIM Electrical Modeler

CNS Engineering Service is seeking an Electrical BIM Modeler to create accurate and detailed Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for electrical systems in construction projects. The role involves collaborating with engineers and architects to integrate electrical designs, performing clash detection, coordinating multiple Revit models, and preparing various electrical design drawings. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and proficiency in BIM software like Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Must Have

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in drafting of electrical works in consultant companies
• Professional and expert user for Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Clash detection & Clash report communication to the design team
• Multiple Revit model coordination
• Preparation of Design drawings such as Lighting, Power, Containments Layouts, Lightning Protection, Earthing Layout, Fire Alarm
• Preparation of Cable Tray/Trunking sizing, containment coordination & MEP coordination
• Responsible for detailing schematics and assisting engineers with problem-solving and Co-ordination with other services Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Plumbing
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler with a focus on electrical systems in construction projects
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other related tools
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360
• Strong clash detection & coordination expertise
• Knowledge of Middle East building codes & standards (LOD 200-500)

Good to Have

• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification
• Relevant certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP)

As an Electrical BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for electrical systems in various construction projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical designs are integrated seamlessly into the overall building design.

Responsibilities:

1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in drafting of electrical works in consultant companies.

3. Clash detection & Clash report communication to the design team.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.
