Job Summary
This role involves planning and executing requirements/business rules management, applying elicitation techniques, and understanding business needs to define functional and non-functional requirements. The analyst will build and maintain requirements artifacts, guide team members on software requirements and traceability, and support internal approvals. Key skills include strong communication, teamwork, organization, proactivity, and the ability to work under pressure. The role requires knowledge of business domains, technology architecture, requirements management processes, elicitation techniques, BPMN, structured and object-oriented development, software development lifecycles (Waterfall, Iterative/incremental, Agile), UML, data modeling, and test analysis. A higher education degree in IT or a related field with a postgraduate degree in IT, and 2-4 years of experience are required, along with specific certifications like IREB CPRE-FL, CSPO, or PSPO I.

- 2-4 years of experience
- One of: IREB CPRE – FL, CSPO, or PSPO I certification

Job Description
What success looks like in this role:
Responsibilities
a) Plan and execute the management of requirements/business rules.
b) Apply requirements elicitation techniques most suitable for the business model and the profiles of requirements/business rules providers.
c) Obtain an understanding of business needs and elicit functional and non-functional requirements from Business Managers, Product Owners, and other requirements/business rules providers.
d) Build and maintain, with the support of Requirements Analysts, the planning and other artifacts of the requirements discipline relevant to the role, according to the current methodology.
e) Guide team members on understanding software requirements and definitions for managing requirements and business rules, such as attributes and traceability needs.
f) Support Requirements Analysts and other team members in requirements activities and internal and Business Managers' approvals.
g) Guide team members on understanding the definitions for performing requirements activities.

a) Have oral and written communication skills to collect input and effectively report the progress and results of their activities.
b) Possess the ability to work in a team, demonstrating good relationships, empathy, tolerance, and collaboration.
c) Be organized and able to self-manage time and activities.
d) Be proactive and capable of making timely decisions in their area of activity.
e) Possess the ability to work under pressure.
f) Be a good facilitator and articulator with stakeholders, know how to conduct meetings, and be able to clearly guide other team members in understanding the artifacts and information generated by their discipline's activities.
g) Be proactive regarding business needs and processes and requirements strategies.
h) Have knowledge of the business domains involved in the solutions of item 2.
i) Have technology knowledge so that requirements specifications are compatible with the current architecture.
j) Be able to identify and understand the need, the key problem, or the opportunity to be realized, being analytical in relation to possible solutions.
k) Have mastery of the requirements management process.
l) Know how to apply requirements elicitation techniques, such as brainstorming, questionnaires, interviews, observation, prototyping, workshops, diagramming, knowing how to guide the requirements provider to formulate their need precisely.
m) Have knowledge of BPMN notation.
n) Have the ability to perform internal scenario analysis for defining best practices.
o) Know how to elaborate proofs of concept according to internal scenarios.
p) Have knowledge of development in Structured and Object-Oriented development paradigms.
q) Have knowledge of software development lifecycles: Waterfall, Iterative/incremental, and Agile.
r) Know how to elaborate UML diagrams.
s) Have knowledge in data modeling.
t) Know how to perform test analysis.
Desirable:
Have knowledge of accounting and function point counting.
Mandatory certifications (at least one of the following or equivalent):
a) IREB (International Requirements Engineering Board) - CPRE – FL (Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering Foundation Level).
b) CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
c) PSPO I (Professional Scrum Product Owner Level I)
Desirable certifications:
d) IREB CPRE RE@Agile.
e) IREB Requirements Elicitation.
f) IREB Requirements Modeling.
g) IREB Requirements Management.
h) CBPA (Certified Business Process Associate).
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Key Qualifications
a) Higher education degree in Information Technology, of at least 360 hours.
b) Higher education degree in any field accompanied by a Postgraduate degree (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology, of at least 360 hours.
Between 2 and 4 years of experience.
