The architect will also support operational activities, including incident resolution, service requests, and project tasks, while maintaining strong relationships with Business Process Owners and customers.
Must have:
  • Design and deliver end-to-end integration solutions that connect enterprise applications, data sources, and external systems across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Define and maintain the conceptual, logical, and physical architecture of middleware platforms.
  • Lead the selection, deployment, and evolution of enterprise service bus (ESB) and integration technologies.
  • Develop integration strategies for on-premise, cloud (SaaS), and hybrid environments.
  • Guide the adoption of APIs and microservices across the enterprise.
  • Own and oversee middleware platforms including IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), Sterling B2B Gateway, Secure File Gateway (SFG), Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), and IBM API Connect (APIC).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business and technical requirements for integration solutions.
  • Support the implementation of monitoring and analytics tools to enhance visibility and reliability.
  • Act as a communication broker—translating business needs into technical integration designs and explaining technical issues in business terms.
  • Support user acceptance testing and secure user sign-off before go-live of new systems or changes.
  • Explore and assess iPaaS solutions for future SaaS-to-SaaS integration needs.
  • Promote the use of APIs and microservices to modernize integration landscape.
  • Periodically review disaster recovery and failover procedures for middleware platforms.
  • Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure effective integration delivery.
  • Educate supplier resources on integration technologies and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Coordinate with external service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of integration solutions.
