Key Responsibilities:
- Connectivity System Development: Design, configure, and maintain digitalization systems using multiple software solutions to monitor and control manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Machines Connectivity: Collaborate with the central and local team to implement connectivity protocols, hardware, and software, ensuring seamless communication between machinery and digitalization systems.
- Database Management: Manage and maintain databases for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of real-time data.
- Data Analysis: Develop data analysis for interpretation and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders from various departments and central teams, including maintenance, IT, production, quality, and engineering, to ensure coordinated efforts and efficient operations.
- Data Acquisition: ensure data acquisition to collect real-time data from machinery and equipment within the plant, developing solutions for data storage, analysis, and reporting.
- HMI Design: Create intuitive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screens and dashboards to enable operators to monitor and control manufacturing processes effectively.
- Data Visualization: Develop charts and graphs using BI tools to transform data into insightful visual representations that aid decision-making.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues within the connectivity system, ensuring minimal downtime and a prompt response to technical problems.
- Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate connectivity systems with other software and hardware components, including PLCs and industrial sensors.
- Security: Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect systems from external threats and unauthorized access, following APTIV's cybersecurity guidelines.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of connectivity system designs, configurations, and changes for future reference and auditing.
- Training: Train plant personnel on connectivity system operation and best practices for efficient use.
- Compliance: Ensure that connectivity systems adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Connectivity Specification & Validation: Define connectivity specifications and validate their implementation.
- IT/OT HW/SW Installation & Configuration: Install and configure IT/OT hardware and software, including operating systems and IT security patches.
- IP Address Allocation & Troubleshooting: Manage IP address allocation and troubleshoot network issues as needed.
- Screen Designing & Data Validation: Design screens and validate data to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Connectivity Maintenance: Maintain connectivity during maintenance activities and engineering changes.
- Implementation Leadership: Lead the implementation of machine connectivity projects for existing, new projects, and engineering changes. Coordination: Coordinate between plant engineering, central IT, and Maintenance and Engineering teams.
- Follow-up and Training: Provide ongoing support and training to plant engineers to ensure effective utilization of connectivity systems.
- System Administration: Administer the connectivity system and ensure its smooth operation
Your background:
- Two-year degree in software development and embedded systems automation.
- +1 year of experience in software development.
- Knowledge in software development and embedded systems automation.
