Job Summary
Luxoft is seeking a Murex Environment Management Consultant for a greenfield Murex implementation at a large bank in Saudi. The role involves supporting various Murex batches (Pre-Core, Core, Accounting, Var, CVA, MLC), assisting with module procedures, debugging issues, configuring scripts, performing daily/monthly housekeeping, and monitoring EOD performance. The consultant will also liaise with vendors, troubleshoot DB performance, analyze vulnerabilities, and manage Murex environments on AWS.
Must Have
- Support Pre-Core, Core, Accounting, Var, CVA, and MLC batches.
- Assist with procedures for various modules and debug related issues.
- Configure processing scripts, feeders, and stored procedures.
- Perform/Monitor daily/monthly housekeeping jobs related to Accounting, Market Data, etc.
- Perform ad hoc operational requests such as generating on-demand reports, file transfer, and housekeeping activities.
- Liaise with vendor for diagnostics and troubleshooting EOD issues.
- Monitor and tune overall EOD performance.
- Perform sanity checks in Murex UI (workflows, real-time data).
- Work with DBAs to troubleshoot DB performance issues impacting EOD batches.
- Extract Murex reports batches/LRB and share with users.
- Analyze and remediate application and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Manage Murex Environments hosted on Cloud (AWS).
- Resolve feeder exceptions, overflow, crashes, and unblock stalled batches.

Large bank in Saudi is looking for a Murex Environment Manager for Murex greenfield implementation.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Pre-Core, Core, Accounting, Var, CVA, and MLC batches.
- Assist with procedures for various modules and debugging the issues related to them. The service delivery team with design and implementation of new batches according to new requirements.
- Configuring the processing scripts, feeders, and stored pro.
- Performing/Monitoring daily/monthly housekeeping jobs related to Accounting, Market Data, etc.
- Perform ad hoc operational requests such as generating of on demand reports, file transfer, and housekeeping activities.
- Liaise with vendor to run diagnostics and troubleshooting for EOD issues.
- Monitor and tune performance of overall EOD.
- Perform sanity checks in Murex UI such as workflows, real-time data, etc.
- Work with DBA`s to troubleshoot performance issues with DB that impact the EOD batches, Extract Murex reports batches/LRB, and share with users.
- Analyse the Vulnerabilities raised on application and infrastructure and remediate them.
- Manage Murex Environments hosted on Cloud (AWS).
- Ability to resolve feeder exceptions, overflow, crashes, and to unblock stalled batches.
Skills
Must have
- 10+ years of experience in Murex Environment Management
- Proficient with Murex EOD architecture, key services, and end to end process
- Good understand of Murex log structure & artefact location
- Datamart Dynamic tables/Feeders/batch Configuration, scanner templates, processing script definition
- Knowledge of Scheduling tools such as Control M, Autosys
- Understanding and debugging of bash, ant, Python/Perl scripts on LINUX RHEL
- Knowledge of DB fundamentals such as query plan, SQL, and indexing
