Job Summary
As a Vegetation Artist (M/F/NB), you will be involved in the production of vegetation assets and their associated technical pipelines. You will work closely with technical directors, Technical Artists, and the Level Art team. You will be central to rendering natural game elements while ensuring real-time performance. Your main missions will include creating vegetation assets (trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants), creating LODs/impostors for performance optimization, applying biome distribution rules via PCG and Houdini techniques, and integrating and optimizing assets in UE5, including Foliage system, World Partition, HLOD, and performance/memory management.
Must Have
- Create vegetation assets (trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants)

- Integrate and optimize assets in UE5 (Foliage, World Partition, HLOD, performance/memory)
- Good knowledge of real-time rendering challenges and techniques
- Sharp artistic sense for 3D composition and rendering
- Knowledge of DDCs: SpeedTree, Blender, Houdini
- Good command of procedural and systemic methods
- Experience in a complete real-time asset creation pipeline
- Experience with procedural and/or modular workflows
Good to Have
- Relevant experience with game editors and engines (especially Unreal Engine 5)
- Good communication skills and comfortable in English

Job Description

During this internship, your main missions will be:
- The creation of vegetation assets (trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants)
- Creation of LODs/impostors for performance optimization.
- Application of biome distribution rules via PCG and Houdini techniques.
- Integration and optimization of assets in UE5:
- Foliage System
- World Partition
- HLOD (Hierarchical LOD)
- Performance and memory management
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of real-time rendering challenges and techniques.
- A sharp artistic sense for 3D composition and rendering.
- Knowledge of DDCs such as: SpeedTree, Blender, Houdini.
- You have a good command of procedural and systemic subjects and methods.
- Experience in a complete real-time asset creation pipeline.
- Any relevant experience with game editors and engines is considered a plus (especially Unreal Engine 5).
- You have good communication skills and are comfortable in English.
- Experience with procedural and/or modular workflows.
