Job Summary

As an Outsourcing Environment Artist for Star Wars Eclipse™, you will ensure the established quality and artistic consistency of the game with external outsourcing teams through artistic and technical feedback. You will integrate into a dynamic and passionate team, working on an ambitious and innovative project based on a globally renowned license. You will be responsible for translating the desired artistic vision through clear and precise feedback, following asset delivery, and ensuring artistic coherence between internal and external quality.

Must Have

  • Ensure consistent artistic quality for 3D assets from external teams.
  • Collaborate with production to ensure timely delivery of 3D assets with required quality.
  • Monitor outsourced 3D assets.
  • Ensure clear artistic and technical understanding for external teams.
  • Provide artistic and technical feedback in English on 3D assets.
  • Work with internal documentation team for quality 3D outsourcing production packs.
  • Proficiency in Maya, Zbrush, Substance, Photoshop, Perforce.
  • Strong artistic and visual sensibility.
  • Experience in environment/vehicle/weapon modeling, texturing, shading, and optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of High/Low poly pipeline and PBR material management.
  • Solid understanding of real-time technical constraints (memory, GPU, CPU performance).
  • Good level of written and spoken English.

Job Description

Dans le cadre du développement de son prochain jeu Star Wars Eclipse™, QUANTIC DREAM recrute des outsourcing environnement artistes dont la responsabilité sera de maintenir la qualité établie et la cohérence artistique de notre jeu auprès de nos équipes d’outsourceurs à travers des feedbacks aussi bien artistiques que techniques.

Vous intégrerez une équipe dynamique et passionnée, en ayant l'opportunité de travailler sur un projet ambitieux et innovant issue d’une licence mondialement connue.

Sous la responsabilité du Lead Environnement du projet, et en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe technique et l’équipe de Production, vous vous assurerez de la bonne transcription de la vision artistique souhaitée à travers des feedbacks clairs et précis.

Le rôle exige de solides compétences artistiques, de fournir des feedbacks et de suivre la livraison des assets auprès de nos outsourceurs. Vous participerez à l'organisation et au processus de review des assets 3D outsourcés et enfin, assurerez la cohérence artistique entre la qualité interne et externe.

Your Missions

  • Ensure the consistency of the artistic quality level required for each 3D asset delivered by our external teams and providers;
  • Work with our production team to ensure that 3D assets are delivered on time with the required artistic and technical quality level;
  • Monitor outsourced 3D assets;
  • Ensure good understanding, both artistic and technical, for our external teams and providers;
  • Provide artistic and technical feedback, in English, on 3D assets delivered by our external teams and providers;
  • Work with our internal documentation team to ensure that our 3D outsourcing production packs have the right level of quality/details for our external teams.

Your qualities that will make the difference

  • Proficiency in industry standard tools like Maya, Zbrush, Substance, Photoshop, Perforce;
  • Strong artistic and visual sensibility;
  • Experience in environment/vehicle/weapon domains (modeling, texturing, shading, and optimization);
  • In-depth knowledge of High/Low poly pipeline, as well as PBR (Physical Based Rendering) material management;
  • Solid understanding of real-time technical constraints (memory, GPU, CPU performance);
  • You are ready to improve and evolve the project to meet ever-increasing quality demands;
  • Positive attitude, team spirit and driven by the desire to bring new ideas to the team.
  • You demonstrate initiative and are proactive in making suggestions;
  • Good level of written and spoken English.

Work rhythm: 2 days remote / 3 days on-site

Contract type: Fixed-term contract (CDD or CDDU) for one year (renewable or potentially leading to a permanent contract).
