Online Programmer

Reporting to the Online Programming Team Lead, you will participate in the setup and development of the architecture for online projects. Your mandate will include participating in the design, implementation, and integration of services for various online functionalities such as monetization, game progression, and matchmaking.

Must Have

• A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, .NET Core language, and Docker
• Experience with back-end services in a development and operations (DevOps) environment, or any other relevant experience
• Knowledge of Gitlab or Git
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Good to Have

• Experience in developing online components in a game
• Knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation
• Knowledge of Python or Golang
• Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases

*This position is for a 6-month short-term contract (CDD) for a leave replacement.

• Design, implement, integrate, and test services allowing games to access online functionalities.
• Work closely with gameplay and network programmers to ensure proper functioning with other game components.
• Offer technical advice and provide game designers with the means to realize their vision and ambition.
• Stay updated on best practices and new technologies in online and web services to offer the best online experience.
