Job Summary
T-Systems ICT India Pvt. Ltd., a Great Place To Work® certified company and a subsidiary of T-Systems International GmbH, is seeking a Network Engineer. This role involves strong working knowledge of Cisco and Juniper switch operations (CCNA/JNCIA equivalent), hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, and independently handling 2nd level support and on-call duties across Shell infrastructure. Responsibilities include complex network changes, OS upgrades, device migrations, and active involvement in infrastructure projects.
Must Have
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco and Juniper switch operations, with expertise equivalent to CCNA and JNCIA certification levels.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall operations and configurations.
- Independently handle 2nd level support tasks and on-call duties across all technologies and environments within the Shell infrastructure (AdminLAN, Management Network, FCI Central, FCI On-Prem, Secure Hosting, ACI).
- Perform complex network changes, including OS upgrades, device migrations, and end-of-life device management.
- Full ownership of related ticket administration across all processes.
- Participate in and support customer audits, including preparation of documentation and coordination efforts.
- Generate and submit monthly and quarterly security reports in support of audit and compliance requirements.
- Active involvement in complex infrastructure projects, covering Relocation, Deployment, Lifecycle Management, and Consolidation activities.
- Manage and support console servers and maintain accurate IP address management.
- Knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team is essential and expected.

- Execute a wide range of operational processes, including Request Fulfillment, Change Management, Incident & Problem Management.
