Job Description

The Infrastructure department of our global network team is looking for a Network Security Administrator to leverage their expertise within our dynamic team of gaming and technology enthusiasts. This role involves installing and maintaining IT solutions and services, proposing infrastructure improvements, and resolving complex issues. The administrator will be responsible for configuring network and system equipment, deploying private network links, monitoring infrastructure for high availability, ensuring proactive network security, conducting capacity planning and security audits, promoting automation, defining standards, evaluating new technical designs, maintaining documentation, and mentoring team members.
Must have:
  • Install, configure, and maintain network and system equipment (switches, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, custom firewalls).
  • Deploy and manage private network links and dedicated peering connections.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and optimize network infrastructure and services for high availability.
  • Ensure proactive network security management: threat detection, incident response, security policy enforcement.
  • Perform regular capacity planning and security audits to prevent risks and performance issues.
  • Promote automation to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and security consistency.
  • Participate in defining and applying standards, guidelines, best practices, and indicators.
  • Evaluate and support new needs, technical designs, and secure architecture choices.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on network hardware, software, and security configurations.
  • Mentor team members, especially new administrators, and contribute to secure network evolution planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced network and security administration (firewalls, load balancers, proxies, VLAN, ACL, EtherChannel, layer 2/3 protocols).
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain large-scale secure infrastructures, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Excellent command of Linux environments and automation (Python, Ansible, CI/CD), with concrete achievements in complex operational contexts.
  • Proven competence in developing innovative solutions to solve new or high-impact technical problems.
  • Ability to optimize network performance and reliability through capacity planning, proactive monitoring, and process improvement.

As a Network Security Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of IT solutions and services, as well as proposing improvements and optimizations to the current infrastructure. As an experienced administrator, you will also be responsible for resolving complex issues raised by our partners.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced network and security administration (firewalls, load balancers, proxies, VLAN, ACL, EtherChannel, layer 2/3 protocols), supported by solid experience in the tasks described above.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain large-scale secure infrastructures, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Excellent command of Linux environments and automation (Python, Ansible, CI/CD), with concrete achievements in complex operational contexts.
  • Proven competence in developing innovative solutions to solve new or high-impact technical problems.
  • Ability to optimize network performance and reliability through capacity planning, proactive monitoring, and process improvement.
  • Recognized for your leadership and mentoring qualities, with the ability to make complex information clear and actionable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
