Job Summary
As an OMT RDA NPI Application Manager at Micron, you will lead efforts in RDA inspection, optical, and EBI topics. Your role involves collaborating with RDA, PI, and YE teams to resolve yield and reliability issues, managing equipment procurement and installation with vendors, and improving tool availability. You will oversee projects, develop performance targets, and ensure engineer training. Key responsibilities include defect data analysis, setting up defect libraries, and implementing OCAPs. You will also drive process efficiency through smart manufacturing tools like ADC, Robot, and Tableau, standardize best known methods, and foster team development through mentoring and training programs, ensuring continuous improvement and high-quality results.
Must Have
- Address yield and reliability issues with RDA, PI, and YE teams.
- Procure and install new equipment, partnering with vendors.
- Resolve tool problems, defect issues, and improve tool availability.
- Manage projects to meet deliverables and time frames.
- Develop performance targets and communicate effectively.
- Ensure engineer training completion.
- Prioritize RDA tool time and control cycle time.
- Assist with EFF lot defect data analysis.
- Set up defect library and new technode training, craft OCAPs.

- Update defect lesson summaries and build OCAPs.
- Collaborate with cRAM and TD to update CL.
- Develop and mentor new and senior engineers.
- Ensure senior engineers complete TTS or CIT annually.

Job Description
At Micron, as an OMT RDA NPI Application Manager or with equivalent experience, you will contribute significantly to our engineering team. Your work centers on RDA inspection optical and EBI topics. Your primary duties involve:
- Collaborate with RDA, PI, and YE teams to address yield and reliability issues related to area tools.
- Partner with Purchasing, Facilities, Contractors, and Vendors to procure and install new equipment.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve tool problems, defect issues, and improve tool availability.
- Manage, measure, and monitor projects to ensure deliverables and time frames are met.
- Develop challenging performance targets and effectively communicate Line of Sight to individual contributors.
Technode Transfer
- Ensure 100% completion of engineer training on time.
- Prioritize RDA tool time and control cycle time.
- Assist with EFF lot defect data analysis.
- Set up defect library and new technode training, summarizing defect lessons learned and crafting OCAPs to guide team responses to inline issues.
Smart Manufacturing
- Improve RDA working efficiency through ADC, Robot, Tableau, and other technologies.
BKM and Standardization
- Continuously update defect lesson summaries and build OCAPs following RDA ground rules.
- Collaborate with cRAM and TD to update CL based on the latest data and studies.
Team Development
- Develop new hires through comprehensive training programs and ensure smooth integration into team workflows.
- Mentor engineers, enabling them to lead new projects, gain knowledge from various fields, and ultimately become leaders.
- Assign more accountability to senior engineers, ensuring they provide high-quality results with a winning approach.
TLP Mentor Program
- Ensure each senior engineer completes TTS or CIT annually to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.
