Job Description

The Operations Associate at SailPoint supports the Customer Success team by managing projects, optimizing processes, and ensuring data integrity. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver with a strong Customer Success background, experience in churn forecasting, and a knack for driving efficiencies through automation and AI. The associate will report to the Head of Global Customer Success Operations.

  • Partner with Customer Success leaders to design and implement process improvements that enhance customer and internal team outcomes.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of project, customer, and contract data across online systems.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Excel, Tableau, and other data platforms.
  • Safeguard data integrity through effective processes, governance, and clear communication.
  • Collaborate with project management, finance, and contracts teams to ensure timely, accurate customer data updates.
  • Support development and rollout of new processes, tools, and automation initiatives.
  • Train internal stakeholders on systems, tools, and processes; provide troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Assist in contract management and related operational tasks.
  • Strong design-thinking mindset (human-centered, iterative, collaborative, solution-oriented).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.
  • Exposure to Gainsight and/or other customer success platforms.
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with global leadership teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality.

The Operations Associate plays a key role in enabling this mission by supporting Customer Success and cross-functional teams through project management, process optimization, and data integrity initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong Customer Success background, experience in churn forecasting and analysis, and a track record of driving efficiencies through workflow automation and AI best practices.

This position reports to the Head of Global Customer Success Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Customer Success leaders to design and implement process improvements that enhance customer and internal team outcomes.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of project, customer, and contract data across online systems.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Excel, Tableau, and other data platforms.

Qualifications

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$58,200 - $83,200 - $108,200

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
