The Senior Operations Engineer in Greenville, SC, drives operational excellence for F-16 Aircraft production. This role involves analyzing Continuous Improvement opportunities, enhancing processes with lean six sigma solutions, facilitating workshops, and implementing efficiency improvements impacting quality, performance, cost, and safety. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, championing process optimization and leveraging data for strategic decisions.

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of professional experience, or Master's degree with 2 years, or 5 years experience without a Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Kaizens, Workshops, projects, and/or other Continuous Improvement style events
  • Production/manufacturing experience
  • Experience with managing multiple projects
  • Must be a US Citizen for security clearance consideration

Good to Have

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic plans to drive operational excellence
  • Project management & facilitation experience
  • Large scale Aerospace manufacturing experience

Description:The Senior Operations Engineer in Greenville, SC, plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across our F-16 Aircraft production and manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • This position supports key aerospace programs by analyzing Continuous Improvement opportunities and enhancing processes implementing lean six sigma solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 3 years of professional experience, 2 years of professional experience with a Masters degree, or 5 years experience without a Bachelors degree

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated facility.

Work Schedules: supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
