Job Summary
Envoy is seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for proactive outbound pipeline generation across North America and EMEA. This role involves shaping outbound strategy, driving new customer acquisition, and expanding adoption among existing customers. The manager will lead, develop, and inspire a distributed BDR team, drive pipeline growth, define outbound strategy, manage performance metrics, stay current on products and market trends, partner cross-functionally, and build scalable processes to enhance productivity and funnel quality.
Must Have
- Lead, develop, and inspire a distributed Outbound BDR team.
- Drive pipeline growth by guiding proactive outreach into Mid-Market and Enterprise target accounts.
- Define and execute outbound strategy.
- Own visibility into pipeline performance by managing team metrics and delivering accurate forecasts.
- Stay current on Envoy’s products, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success.
- Build scalable processes and playbooks.
- 2+ years of recent experience directly managing BDR/SDR teams selling software to US customers.
- Proven success in building and executing targeted outbound strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business through prospecting.
- Hands-on selling experience as a software individual contributor.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Highly organized, autonomous, and accountable.
- Data-driven approach to team performance.

About the Role
Envoy is seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for proactive outbound pipeline generation across North America and EMEA. In this role, you will empower your team to educate prospects and evangelize Envoy’s mission to create safer, more efficient, modern workplaces.
As a key member of the Sales Leadership team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our outbound strategy, driving new customer acquisition, and expanding adoption among our existing customer base. You’ll join a fast-scaling Revenue organization that prides itself on being the most innovative, efficient, and customer-centric team in B2B. Envoy is growing rapidly, offering meaningful opportunities for career advancement.
This is an on-site position that requires four days a week (Monday-Thursday) in our Denver, Colorado office.
You will
- Lead, develop, and inspire a distributed Outbound BDR team across San Francisco, Denver, and London, serving as their front-line coach and strategic partner.
- Drive pipeline growth by guiding proactive outreach into Mid-Market and Enterprise target accounts, consistently overachieving qualified pipeline goals.
- Define and execute outbound strategy, including targeting greenfield accounts, accelerating product adoption, and supporting customers’ ability to achieve their business objectives with Envoy.
- Own visibility into pipeline performance by managing team metrics, coaching for improvement, and delivering accurate monthly forecasts.
- Stay current on Envoy’s products, market trends, and competitive landscape to ensure your team represents the company with clarity and authority.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to create a seamless, high-quality experience throughout the earliest stages of the customer journey.
- Build scalable processes and playbooks that enhance team productivity, prospecting effectiveness, and funnel quality.
You have
- 2+ years of recent experience (within the last 5 years) directly managing BDR/SDR teams selling software to US customers.
- Proven success in building and executing targeted outbound strategies, including ABM-style motions and persona-based outreach.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business through prospecting, including coaching reps on sequencing, messaging, and multi-channel outreach.
- Hands-on selling experience as a software individual contributor, ideally with exposure to full-cycle sales motions.
