Overseas Contractor

This role involves planning and executing the migration of Oracle Database 19c to a new data center, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Oracle Data Guard, installing and managing Oracle RAC and ASM, applying patches, performing upgrades, and conducting health checks. The contractor will also set up Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c, automate backups, perform cloning, optimize database performance, and troubleshoot issues while maintaining detailed documentation and ensuring security compliance.

Must Have

• Plan and execute Oracle Database 19c migration to a new data center
• Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during migration
• Configure Oracle Data Guard for standby database setup
• Perform switchover and switchback operations
• Monitor and maintain Data Guard health and synchronization
• Install and configure Oracle RAC Real Application Clusters
• Set up and manage ASM Automatic Storage Management
• Apply patches on Quarterly basis and perform upgrades and migration for Oracle Database 19c
• Conduct regular health checks and proactive maintenance
• Set up and manage Oracle Enterprise Manager OEM 13c for monitoring
• Automate backups and performance reports
• Perform database cloning and environment refreshes for development and testing
• Analyze and optimize database performance
• Troubleshoot slow queries, locking issues, and resource bottlenecks
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and policies
• Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements
