We are looking for a strategically minded, systematic, and collaborative leader for a unique opportunity supporting the Platform Business Excellence (PBE) leadership team in the Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) organization. As the PBE Operations Manager will drive operational excellence and foster a collaborative environment, empowering the PBE team to achieve strategic goals and contribute to Autodesk's growth and success. You will act as a strategic advisor and operational powerhouse to streamline the PBE’s operations. PBE is the center of excellence for XD, Analytics and Insights, Technical Program and Portfolio management, M&A integration, and Vendor Management.
Must have:
  • Manage the PBE leadership team operating model.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to the Sr. Director and act as a proxy.
  • Champion employee engagement for the PBE team.
  • Plan and facilitate effective team and cross-org meetings, workshops, and off-sites.
  • Lead PBE team initiatives and goals.

Position Overview

We are looking for a strategically minded, systematic, and collaborative leader for a unique opportunity supporting the Platform Business Excellence (PBE) leadership team in the Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) organization. As the PBE Operations Manager will drive operational excellence and foster a collaborative environment, empowering the PBE team to achieve strategic goals and contribute to Autodesk's growth and success.

You will act as a strategic advisor and operational powerhouse to streamline the PBE’s operations. PBE is the center of excellence for XD, Analytics and Insights, Technical Program and Portfolio management, M&A integration, and Vendor Management. As a group, PBE is more than the sum of its parts. By managing our operating model and refining our measures of success, you will help grow our brand as a team as a key player to bring Autodesk’s strategic vision to life.

As the ideal candidate you will have a track record in product operations, enjoy working effectively in complex, technology-focused organizations, and a personal brand of making everyone around you better.

This position offers flexibility, allowing for on-site, hybrid, or remote work in the west coast of the United States or Canada, with up to 40% travel to office locations and Autodesk-sponsored events.

Responsibilities

  • Operational excellence: Manage the PBE leadership team operating model, ensuring that the team has the appropriate objectives, and the right structures, accountabilities, and cadences to support them. Work with cross functional partners (HR, Finance, Legal) to ensure consistent dialogue, issue resolution and business program implementation
  • Executive Partnership: Serve as a trusted partner to the Sr. Director and act as a proxy where appropriate. Understand complex issues and recommend solutions while maintaining objectivity. Provide insightful analysis and representation in key discussions.
  • Employee Engagement: Champion employee engagement for the PBE team. Ensure measurable engagement goals are developed and that they support our objectives. Expand this engagement to other teams across Autodesk so they understand the purpose of PBE and the value of engaging with us
  • Meetings & Workshops: Plan and facilitate effective team and cross-org meetings, workshops, and off-sites. Formulate topics, build agendas, guide discussions, synthesize diverse perspective into cohesive strategies and actions, and follow up as appropriate
  • Initiative Leadership: Lead PBE team initiatives and goals that span PBE and/or PSET. Synthesize actionable plans, drive change management, track progress and milestones. Initiatives range from hiring sprints, decision-making tools and practices, to the establishing a platform product operating model

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product operations, technical program management, or management consulting within a high-tech environment
  • Proven success in leading complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Strong team building and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive to committed decisions
  • Excellent operational and flexible mindset to adapt to and create structure in changing circumstances and priorities
  • Action-oriented with strong influencing and decision-driving skills
  • Effective communicator to both developer and executive audience.
  • Highly proficient in the entire Microsoft suite including Co-pilot; familiarity with tools like Airtable and JIRA is preferred

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,200 and $223,630. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
