Foundation Health is seeking an experienced Ohio-licensed Pharmacist In Charge for a part-time, hybrid role in Ohio. This position oversees non-dispensing administrative pharmacy operations, managing the full patient medication lifecycle from intake to fulfillment. Responsibilities include prescription review, co-pay resolution, prior authorization workflows, and the MTM program, ensuring clinical accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is clinically minded, passionate about operational excellence, digital health, and improving patient access to care through technology.
Good To Have:
  • Prior experience as a Responsible Person or Pharmacist In Charge in Ohio
  • Multi-state licensure
  • Familiarity with telepharmacy or digital-first care models
Must Have:
  • Manage and monitor end-to-end prescription workflows
  • Oversee and support the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program
  • Review and clinically assess incoming prescriptions for appropriateness, safety, and accuracy
  • Monitor and resolve prescription issues with doctors
  • Work closely with dispensing pharmacies on fulfilment
  • Provide patient support and handle queries
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering team on continuous improvement of the platform
  • Oversee the compliance and regulatory aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring alignment with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy regulations
  • Maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and accreditations for the pharmacy
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
  • Possess a valid, active pharmacist license from the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
  • Have 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience, ideally within a non-dispensing, or administrative pharmacy setting
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations, especially those relevant to non-dispensing operations
  • Proven ability to manage prescription workflows, including co-pays, prior authorizations, and MTM programs
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail, with strong documentation and communication skills
  • Be comfortable working with digital tools and technology-enabled pharmacy workflows

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Ohio licensed pharmacist based in Ohio to join our team at Foundation Health in a part-time capacity as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC). This role will oversee our non-dispensing administrative pharmacy operations in Ohio. The successful candidate will oversee the full spectrum of prescription review, co-pay resolution, prior authorisation workflows, and the MTM program, managing the complete patient medication lifecycle from intake to fulfilment. This includes ensuring clinical accuracy, operational efficiency, and smooth coordination across our suite of internal pharmacy tools.

This role is ideal for a clinically minded pharmacist who is passionate about operational excellence, digital health, and improving patient access to care through technology-enabled models.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage and monitor end-to-end prescription workflows

We’re Looking for Someone With:

Essential

  • A valid, active pharmacist license from the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
