Playable Ads Developer

Scorewarrior, a game developer and publisher from Cyprus, is seeking a Creative Playable Developer to support their creative marketing team. The role focuses on the backend development of playable ads for their 4x strategy game, Total Battle. Key responsibilities include developing game mechanics in Cocos Creator, packaging ads for major networks, and working with Google Analytics to apply performance insights. The company aims to make Total Battle the #1 game in its genre and be the best place to work on games.

Must Have

• Develop game mechanics in Cocos Creator based on ready-made assets and scenes
• Finalize and package playable ads for major ad networks (AppLovin, Unity, Google, Facebook, IronSource)
• Work with Google Analytics for playables, interpret and apply insights from performance data
• Consistently deliver 2 gameplay-ready playables per month when building from scratch
• Consistently deliver 6+ playables per month when working with existing mechanics
• 2–3 years of proven experience as a Playable Ads Developer
• Excellent knowledge of Cocos Creator (v3.x+ preferred)
• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
• Familiar with Canvas rendering
• Experience with HTML5, CSS (Sass/SCSS/Stylus), and responsive cross-platform layout
• Understand adaptive layout principles and have hands-on experience with JS and CSS animations (GSAP or native)
• Can work with Webpack or other build tools
• Comfortable using Git for version control
• Apply OOP principles and SOLID design patterns in your code
• Have published examples of playable ads in your portfolio

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Pixi.js or Three.js
• Familiarity with Node.js (for build scripts and automation)
• Basic skills in Photoshop, Figma, or Adobe Illustrator for asset preparation and optimization

Job requirements

You could be a great fit for this position If:

• Have 2–3 years of proven experience as a Playable Ads Developer.
