Job Description

Marvell is seeking a Principal Engineer for Test Operations & Customer Strategy to lead test operations for custom compute silicon programs. This role involves acting as the primary operations test engineering interface for key hyperscale accounts, defining test methodologies, managing deliverables, and influencing Marvell’s long-term test technology roadmap. The engineer will drive test plan execution from prototype to high-volume manufacturing, optimize test efficiency using ATE platforms, and evangelize Marvell’s operational excellence with strategic customers.
Good To Have:

  • Global operations experience (OSAT, foundry, and supply chain collaboration).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~10–20%).
Must Have:
  • Act as customer-facing leader for all test operations activities.
  • Partner closely with hyperscale and data center customers to define test methodologies and success metrics.
  • Develop strategic engagement plans that position Marvell as a trusted technology partner.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Test, DFT, Product Engineering, Operations, and Program Management.
  • Drive execution of test plans from prototype through high-volume manufacturing.
  • Optimize test efficiency using ATE Test platforms for high-performance compute devices.
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of semiconductor test/product engineering and operations experience, including leadership roles.
  • Experience supporting advanced process nodes (5nm and below) and heterogeneous integration (HBM, chiplets, MCM).
  • Proven track record engaging with hyperscale or data center customers.
  • Strong technical understanding of ATE, yield optimization, and production scaling.
  • Demonstrated strategic account management and executive presentation capabilities.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and program management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into customer value and business outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and strategic customer partnership, enabling Marvell’s hyperscale and data center customers to achieve first-pass silicon success and sustained production efficiency. You will serve as the primary operations test engineering interface for key hyperscale accounts, shaping test strategies, managing deliverables, and influencing Marvell’s long-term test technology roadmap.

What You’ll Bring

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

135,000 - 199,800, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
