Summary of the Role:
As a Quality Assurance Technician 4, you will support the engineering team by helping facilitate PIS/MRB meetings and following up on corrective actions. Your duties include keeping accurate records of test results and procedures, handling product holds and releases in the system, and managing inventory reports for affected products. You will also maintain tools, parts, and equipment used in engineering support. Participation in improvement initiatives is encouraged. This role requires working both day and night shifts (DS/NS) to support QA operations.
Job Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:
- Provides technical assistance to engineering team by supporting PIS/MRB Meeting Facilitation and continue to follow-up CA and closure.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, procedures, and technical reports.
- Execute holding dispositions in the system and follow releasing instructions.
- Manage inventory reports for products affected by a reported issue.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and equipment used in engineering support.
- Work schedule is DS/NS to sustain the QA operation.
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate or Diploma degree in Engineering Technology, Quality Assurance or a related field of study.
- Atleast 3 years technical experience in the Engineering Support or Quality Assurance Operations.
- Work experience in facilitating MRB/PIS meetings and handling corrective actions is highly desirable.
- Industry exposure in Electronics or Semiconductor manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with quality systems, documentation, and inventory management.
Skills and Competency Requirements:
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in using quality management systems and inventory tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of engineering tools, parts, and equipment handling.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
