Job Summary
This Operational Trainer role at Western Digital involves managing the Operation Training function, focusing on training, certification, and recertification for Production Operators. Key responsibilities include administering the Online Training System (OTS), supporting New Hire Orientation (NHO), coordinating technical training with SMEs, and handling various production-related tasks such as CCTV setup, product flow control with CIM, internal de-labeling logistics, laser barcode cassette implementation, and weekly Stability Index data input.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or any related fields.
- Minimum 5- 10 years’ experience in EMS or electronics and related field.
- Ability to work cross functionally to accomplish objectives.
- Possess strong communication skills & project management acumen.
Good to Have
- Experienced on Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6 Sigma (green belt), FMEA & PMP is preferred.
- Good analytical skills, positive personality and takes initiative.
- Proactive in teamwork and independent work.
- Having audit experience is an added advantage.

- In-charge of Operation Training function, responsible for Production Operators’ training, certification and recertification.

- Company event photo and video.
- Coordinate technical training with SMEs
- Production CCTV camera set up for production
- Product flow control with CIM.
- Internal De-labeling logistic and reject criteria.
- Laser barcode cassette implementation.
- Weekly Stability Index data input for UPH, WIP, on-hold WIP%, sputter starts qty and WIP DOS.
- Production headcount algo simulations
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or any related fields.
- Minimum 5- 10 years’ experience in EMS or electronics and related field.
