Job Summary
Western Digital is seeking a Specialist 3, Operations Training to manage the Operation Training function, focusing on production operators' training, certification, and recertification. This role involves administering the Online Training System, supporting New Hire Orientation, coordinating technical training, and handling various operational tasks like CCTV setup, product flow control, and data input for stability metrics. The ideal candidate will contribute to powering global innovation in data storage technology.
Must Have
- In-charge of Operation Training function, responsible for Production Operators’ training, certification and recertification.
- Administration of OTS (Online Training System).
- Support NHO (New Hire Orientation).
- Company event photo and video.
- Coordinate technical training with SMEs.
- Production CCTV camera set up for production.
- Product flow control with CIM.
- Internal De-labeling logistic and reject criteria.
- Laser barcode cassette implementation.
- Weekly Stability Index data input for UPH, WIP, on-hold WIP%, sputter starts qty and WIP DOS.
- Production headcount algo simulations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or any related fields.
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in EMS or electronics and related field.
- Ability to work cross functionally to accomplish objectives.
- Possess strong communication skills & project management acumen.
Good to Have
- Experienced on Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6 Sigma (green belt), FMEA & PMP.
- Good analytical skills, positive personality and takes initiative.
- Proactive in teamwork and independent work.
- Having audit experience.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or any related fields.
- Minimum 5- 10 years’ experience in EMS or electronics and related field.
