Job Description

Skydance Games, a division of Paramount, is seeking a Principal Graphics Engineer for a new project. This role involves architecting, maintaining, and optimizing rendering pipelines and features, working closely with technical artists. The engineer will be responsible for designing and refining rendering systems, ensuring maximum performance across various devices, from mobile to PC and high-end consoles. The position requires strong C++, Unreal Engine, shader, and 3D geometry skills.
Good To Have:
  • Degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary work with large-scale game engine architecture
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-directing, strong communication skills
  • Experience with deep performance optimization and tuning
  • Prior work, personal or professional, that shows exceptional insight and skill of execution
Must Have:

  • Strong math/3d geometry skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States

You will be a key member of the growing engineering team for a new project. You will be responsible for all aspects of the development related to graphics and visual presentation of the game. You will be a bridge between the engineering and hardware and the creative team and their game vision.

Responsiblities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with graphics related responsibilities in commercial game project development

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
  • Strong knowledge of shader languages and GPU hardware, and performance analysis tools
  • Strong math/3d geometry skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States
