This role involves designing and implementing quality control processes, procedures, and tools, including statistical techniques. The engineer will facilitate DFMEA and design reviews, assess customer impact from quality issues, and drive resolutions globally. Responsibilities also include analyzing production and supplier standards for process improvements, qualifying components, and working with suppliers to prevent defects. The role requires analyzing material failures for root cause, generating reports, and developing data models to track defect trends.

- Facilitate DFMEA and design reviews as concurrent engineering efforts.
- Assesses customer and business impact from product quality issues, communicates globally, and drives resolution.
- Analyzes production, supplier, and fulfillment standards and recommends process improvements.
- Qualifies components and works with suppliers to ensure repeatable robust processes.
- Analyzes material failures to determine root cause, generates failure analysis reports, and implements corrective actions.
- Develop data models and reports that provide insights into defect trends, severity, and risk areas.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering with prior working experience in quality.
- At least 10 years of experience in either product development or manufacturing.
- Expertise in quality processes and metrics.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as EasyBI, Tableau.
- Proficiency in PLM.
