  • Designs and installs quality control processes, procedures, tools, and statistical techniques.
  • Facilitate DFMEA and design reviews as concurrent engineering efforts.
  • Assesses customer and business impact from product quality issues, communicates globally, and drives resolution.
  • Analyzes production, supplier, and fulfillment standards and recommends process improvements.
  • Qualifies components and works with suppliers to ensure repeatable robust processes.
  • Analyzes material failures to determine root cause, generates failure analysis reports, and implements corrective actions.
  • Develop data models and reports that provide insights into defect trends, severity, and risk areas.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering with prior working experience in quality.
  • At least 10 years of experience in either product development or manufacturing.
  • Expertise in quality processes and metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as EasyBI, Tableau.
  • Proficiency in PLM.

Job Description

  • Designs and installs quality control processes, procedures, tools, and statistical techniques.
  • Designs and/or specifies quality control sampling and testing procedures.
  • Formulates quality control policies and procedures in conjunction with other engineering disciplines, operations, and suppliers and analyzes the economic impact of any quality control process proposed.
  • Facilitate DFMEA, design review as concurrent engineering efforts at design phases for seamless product transition.
  • Assesses customer and business impact from product quality issues, communicates issue globally, and drives supporting teams for issue resolution.
  • Analyzes production, supplier, and fulfillment standards and limitations, and recommends process improvements.
  • Focuses on standards, methods and procedures rather than with testing devices and equipment used to check products.
  • Qualifies components and works with suppliers to ensure repeatable robust processes are in place to maintain quality control and prevent future defects.
  • Analyzes material failures to determine root cause, generates failure analysis reports, and works in conjunction with engineering and suppliers to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop data models and reports that provide insights into defect trends, severity, and risk areas.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering with prior working experience in quality.
  • At least 10 years of experience in either product development or manufacturing.
  • Expertise in quality processes and metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as EasyBI, Tableau.
  • Proficiency in (Product Lifecycle Management) PLM.
  • Certification in quality assurance, Six Sigma belt, a Master black belt a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in usage of quality tools.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and influence stakeholders.
  • Work and collaborate with a Global Workforce.
