Product Data Analyst - Senior

Job Summary
SOFTSWISS is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Data Analyst to join its expanding team. The role involves transforming data into actionable insights to guide product decisions and measure the impact of features on key business and partner metrics. The analyst will work closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts, design event-based tracking, run comprehensive product analytics, and build and maintain BI dashboards.
Must Have
- Work closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts
- Participate in SRS / feature scoping discussions
- Help define feature goals and product metrics
- Design event-based tracking
- Define which events and properties should be logged
- Ensure events can be connected to business and user metrics
- Run product analytics (funnels, cohorts, retention, LTV, conversion analysis)
- Perform feature impact evaluation (before/after, A/B tests, experiments)
- Build and maintain BI dashboards (preferably in Tableau)
- Perform ad-hoc analyses for product, account management and sales teams
- Monitor data quality and validate tracking implementation
- Document metrics, event schemas and key research findings
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst / Data Analyst
- Strong SQL (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, basic query optimization)
- Experience with ClickHouse or strong willingness and ability to ramp up quickly
- Python for analytics (pandas, numpy, Jupyter notebooks, building analysis and visualisations)
- Experience with BI tools, ideally Tableau
- Solid understanding of product analytics
- Ability to translate a business question into an analytical task and back
- English B1+
Good to Have
- Experience in iGaming / fintech / B2B SaaS / marketing platforms
- Participation in event tracking / logging design together with BA/PM/engineering
- Understanding of iGaming unit economics (deposits, bonuses, bets, NGR, etc.)
- Basic statistics (confidence intervals, p-values, common pitfalls in experiment interpretation)

Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts: participate in SRS / feature scoping discussions; help define feature goals and product metrics
- Design event-based tracking: define which events and properties should be logged; ensure events can be connected to business and user metrics
- Run product analytics: funnels, cohorts, retention, LTV, conversion analysis; feature impact evaluation (before/after, A/B tests, experiments)
- Build and maintain BI dashboards (preferably in Tableau): product usage dashboards; business and operational reports
- Perform ad-hoc analyses for product, account management and sales teams
- Monitor data quality and validate tracking implementation
- Document metrics, event schemas and key research findings
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst / Data Analyst
- Strong SQL is a must: complex joins, window functions, CTEs and basic query optimization
- Experience with ClickHouse or strong willingness and ability to ramp up quickly (hands-on ClickHouse experience is a big plus)
- Python for analytics: pandas, numpy; Jupyter notebooks, building analysis and visualisations
- Experience with BI tools, ideally Tableau
- Solid understanding of product analytics: user and business metrics, cohorts, retention, funnels, basic principles of A/B testing and experimentation
- Ability to translate a business question into an analytical task and back: propose metrics, cuts and methodology, explain results in a clear, non-technical way
- English В1+: comfortable reading documentation and written communication; calls with English-speaking colleagues/clients are a plus
