Product Lead

CodeMaestro is seeking an experienced Product Lead for a part-time, fully remote role to help shape and grow their AI developer assistant for game developers. This strategic and hands-on position requires navigating an early-stage startup environment, focusing on product-market fit and disrupting the game development industry. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in software product management, experience launching SaaS products, and a strong technical background.

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in software product management, including solid experience with technical products (e.g., enterprise automation, API products, developer products, high-load products, integration products)
• Successful experience launching and growing SaaS products from 0 to 1 (startups or new products in larger companies)
• Managerial experience (team lead, project manager)
• Strong systems thinking
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to strive and navigate an early stage startup environment, with its dynamics and ambiguity
• Technical background (STEM / IT)
• Practical knowledge of AJTBD/JTBD methodologies
• Fluent Russian, English Upper-Intermediate or above
• Conduct product discovery through interviews, surveys, prototypes, competitor studies
• Refine and manage the product roadmap
• Define product requirements
• Create UI wireframes
• Facilitate and guide the engineering team toward product goals
• Plan and supervise product delivery
• Manage product documentation for end users (user guides, release notes)
• Conduct onboarding, activation, and retention meetings with enterprise customers
• Process customer feedback and ensure it refines the product and retains customers
• Manage team performance and budget (monitor team performance and load; approve expenses; manage contractor developers)
• Define requirements and provide feedback on product marketing materials (e.g., product demos, videos)
• Stakeholder management (collaborate with co-founders to align on product priorities, critical product decisions, and develop a shared product vision and understanding of capabilities)

Good to Have

• Game development experience, especially with Unity & Unreal Engine projects
• Experience launching/managing AI/ML products
• Fluent English
