Product Manager - APAC Onboarding & KYC

As a Regional Onboarding & KYC Product Manager at Wise, you will lead the development and implementation of seamless KYC solutions for the APAC region. This involves working cross-functionally with compliance, engineering, and regional teams to optimize onboarding and verification processes. Your role focuses on delivering a frictionless customer experience while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements, balancing security, efficiency, and regulatory obligations. You will drive the KYC roadmap, integrate local identity verification, and analyze data to mitigate financial crime risks.

Must Have

• Lead KYC roadmap development and execution for APAC.
• Collaborate with compliance for KYC requirement adherence.
• Drive integration of local identity verification solutions.
• Partner with teams to improve user journeys and reduce friction.
• Analyze data for trends, process improvement, and fincrime risk mitigation.
• 3+ years of product management experience.

Good to Have

• Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations in APAC.

Job Description

As a Regional Onboarding & KYC Product Manager at Wise, you’ll drive the development and implementation of seamless KYC solutions for the APAC region. You will work cross-functionally with compliance, engineering, and regional teams to optimize onboarding and verification processes while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements. Your role will focus on delivering a frictionless customer experience while balancing security, efficiency, and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of KYC roadmap for the APAC region.
• Collaborate with compliance stakeholders to ensure Wise stays compliant and up to speed with evolving KYC requirements.
• Drive the integration of local identity verification solutions
• Partner with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to improve user journeys and reduce friction.
• Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and mitigate fincrime risks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in FinTech or KYC.
• Highly analytical (you can self-serve with data)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to deliver product solutions across multiple markets.
• Ideally: Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations in APAC.
