Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Marketing Director to lead the marketing strategy and tactical product merchandizing for our cutting-edge AC-DC power conversion solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of power conversion topologies, extensive experience in the integrated circuit (IC) industry, and a proven track record in either a semiconductor company or power converter manufacturer. This role requires expertise in various end markets, including USB PD adapters, resonant converters for mid-power applications (e.g., tools, servers), metering, displays, and electric vehicles (EVs), AI & Server market knowledge is a plus. The candidate must possess exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic marketing skills and be comfortable with extensive international and domestic travel.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Market Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy for AC-DC power conversion solutions, identifying growth opportunities in key end markets.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Define value propositions, competitive positioning, and marketing messages to effectively communicate the advantages of our products to customers.
  • Industry & Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the semiconductor and power conversion industries.
  • Business Development: Work closely with the sales team to drive customer design wins, foster customer engagement, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, analyze industry trends, and evaluate competitor products to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Technical Expertise & Evangelism: Act as a subject matter expert on power conversion topologies, providing insights to internal teams and delivering technical presentations at industry events and customer meetings.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product development and market penetration strategies.
  • Travel & Global Engagement: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings globally, with frequent travel to Asia.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in product marketing, business development, or technical sales within the semiconductor or power conversion industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AC-DC power conversion topologies, including USB PD, resonant converters, flyback, forward, and high-frequency switching power supplies. 
  • Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with diverse end markets such as USB adapters, power tools, servers, metering, displays, and EV power systems.
  • Global Business Acumen: Experience working with customers and partners across Asia (China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan), with a willingness to travel extensively (50% or more).
  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and implement market-driven strategies that drive business growth.

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, highly innovative technology environment.
