Job Summary
This Production Engineer role at Meritis involves joining the SOW (Workstation Core) team within the Infrastructure Department. The primary mission is to actively contribute to the development and maintenance of virtual workstation offerings (VDI/VM) in a complex and demanding environment. Responsibilities include maintaining and evolving virtual workstations, supporting convergence to a unified master, providing Level 3 support for virtual desktops, industrializing and automating tasks, and participating in defining VDI service offerings.
Must Have
- Maintain and evolve virtual workstations.

- Maintain and evolve update processes (upgrade, drivers).
- Participate in the evolution work of the office core.

Job Description
Within the Infrastructure Department, you will join the SOW (Workstation Core) team. This team is an essential pillar in the management, operation, and evolution of workstation environments, with a particular focus on virtual workstations (VDI).
Your mission: actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the virtual workstation offering in a complex and demanding environment (VDI/VM).
Your main responsibilities
You will be involved in the operation, advanced support, and evolution projects related to VDI solutions:
- Maintain and evolve virtual workstations.
- Support the convergence towards a unified master.
- Provide Level 3 support for virtual workstations.
- Industrialize and automate recurring tasks.
- Participate in the definition and maintenance of the VDI service offering across the entire scope.
Additional activities of the SOW team
- Management of N3 incidents (on-call 1 day/week).
- Qualification of hardware for the workstation.
- Maintenance of the PCA solution.
- Management and evolution of communication tools (e.g., MTR solution, La Vitre…).
- Maintenance and evolution of update processes (upgrade, drivers…).
- Participation in the evolution work of the office core.
Possible projects
You may be involved in:
- The VDI infrastructure convergence project.
- The implementation of VM environments in the cloud.
Qualifications
- You have a BAC+3 to BAC+5 degree.
- You have 5 to 10 years of experience in workstation management and operation.
- Windows 11: Confirmed – *Essential*
- Omnissa Horizon (VMware Horizon): Confirmed – *Essential*
- Citrix Desktop: Confirmed – *Essential*
- VDI/VM: Expert – *Very important*
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11 OS, advanced diagnostics, and workstation environment.
- Industrialization via SCCM 2012.
- In-depth knowledge of office tools (Office, security, browsers, Java, Adobe…).
- Proficiency in Active Directory and GPO/GPP management.
- Solid skills in Powershell scripting.
