The Production Supervisor will supervise all day or swing shift production activities and ensure that processes are performed according to current standard operating procedures. This is an in-person role, requiring on-site presence five days a week. Key responsibilities include supervising production lines, managing work orders, collaborating with planning, driving continuous improvement, attending meetings, owning processes, and developing staff. The role also involves interacting with other departments, preparing reports, and adhering to quality and compliance standards.

Must Have:- Supervise production and pilot lines
- Coordinate scheduling of people, materials, and equipment
- Ensure work orders are processed in a timely manner
- Proactively identify and address any delays in work orders
- Collaborate with Planning on delayed work orders
- Maintain an environment of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and efficiency
- Attend and participate in master schedule meetings
- Drive team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals without compromising quality
- Address and escalate line issues as needed
- Maintain a strong presence on production lines
- Understand, own, and clearly communicate processes to stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering on technical issues
- Select, manage, train, and develop staff
- Establish objectives and assignments for staff
- Provide ongoing feedback through performance reviews and development plans
- Interact with production, quality control, and process engineering departments
- Prepare production reports and review log history reports
- Adhere to all local, state and federal laws (e.g., wage and hour)
- Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Adhere to domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures
- Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles
- Ensure other members of the department follow QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures
- High school education
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
