Cadence is seeking a highly organized, execution-driven Program Manager to support the Global Security organization. This role involves designing, coordinating, and driving key security programs and cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery. The Program Manager will lead projects, support global governance, build operational dashboards, and ensure alignment across various teams. Additionally, the role provides executive support to the VP, Global Security, focusing on operational clarity, consistent communications, and effective organizational rhythm. This high-impact position ensures the Global Security function operates with consistency, transparency, and strategic discipline, driving initiatives that impact safety, resilience, and operational continuity.

Must Have

  • Build and operate a high-performing Program Management Office for Global Security
  • Own the global security program portfolio across regions and global program owners
  • Develop governance frameworks, operating mechanisms, and standardized delivery methodologies
  • Ensure programs have clear charters, owners, milestones, budgets, and success metrics
  • Run Monthly Business Review (MBR), Quarterly Business Review (QBR), annual planning, and roadmap cycles
  • Maintain the Global Security Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Establish and enforce project and program accountability across owners
  • Drive prioritization processes and ensure resources are aligned with strategic priorities
  • Partner with HR, Legal, IT, REW, Business Continuity, Finance, and Engineering leadership
  • Align timelines, communications, and responsibilities across teams
  • Support policy development, compliance documentation, and regulatory alignment
  • Manage global coordination for drills, audits, and regulatory programs
  • Partner with Finance on budget planning, forecasts, headcount modeling, and spend tracking
  • Track vendor performance, contract renewals, and service delivery quality
  • Centralize SOWs, contracts, vendor evaluations, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Provide structured support to the VP, Global Security, including calendar coordination and prioritization management
  • Deliver executive-level reporting for the VP, security leadership, and cross-functional partners
  • Assist with domestic and international travel logistics when needed
  • Prepare presentations, briefing documents, QBR materials, team all-hands decks, and confidential correspondence
  • Draft and circulate communications on behalf of the VP
  • Manage PO creation, expense approvals, and invoice tracking for the Security organization
  • Organize meetings, offsites, and morale events, handling agendas, logistics, and follow-up
  • Support logistics for internal and external speaking engagements, conferences, and executive-level events
  • Act as a discreet and trusted liaison, helping streamline communication across the organization
  • 5–10+ years of experience in program management, business operations, project management, or related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Experience with dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams (e.g., HR, Legal, Workplace, IT, Operations)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive-level materials
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail

About the Role

Cadence is seeking a highly organized, execution-driven Program Manager to support the Global Security organization. This role is responsible for designing, coordinating, and driving key security programs and cross-functional initiatives across the company. The Program Manager will lead projects from concept to delivery, support global governance, build and maintain operational dashboards, and ensure alignment across HR, Legal, IT, Workplace, and engineering teams.

In addition to owning major security programs, the role will provide focused executive support to the VP, Global Security to ensure operational clarity, consistent communications, and effective organizational rhythm.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who excels at structure, communication, and project leadership inside a fast-moving, global organization.

Key Responsibilities

PMO Leadership & Governance

  • Build and operate a high-performing Program Management Office for Global Security.
  • Own the global security program portfolio, including all workstreams across regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC) and global program owners.
  • Develop governance frameworks, operating mechanisms, and standardized delivery methodologies.
  • Ensure programs have clear charters, owners, milestones, budgets, and success metrics.
  • Run the Monthly Business Review (MBR), Quarterly Business Review (QBR), annual planning, and roadmap cycles.
  • Maintain the Global Security Strategy, ensuring alignment with Cadence’s business objectives.
  • Establish and enforce project and program accountability across owners.
  • Drive prioritization processes and ensure resources are aligned with strategic priorities.

Cross-Functional Integration & Alignment

  • Partner with HR, Legal, IT, REW, Business Continuity, Finance, and Engineering leadership.

  • Manage global coordination for drills, audits, and regulatory programs.

Financial & Vendor Governance

Executive Support

  • Deliver executive-level reporting for the VP, security leadership, and cross-functional partners.
  • Assist with domestic and international travel logistics when needed.
  • Prepare (and occasionally develop content for) presentations, briefing documents, QBR materials, team all-hands decks, and confidential correspondence.
  • Draft and circulate communications on behalf of the VP, ensuring message consistency and alignment with company voice and strategy.
  • Manage PO creation, expense approvals, and invoice tracking for the Security organization.
  • Organize meetings, offsites, and morale events, handling agendas, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Support logistics for internal and external speaking engagements, conferences, and executive-level events.
  • Managing the social media presence of the VP and participation in other industry forums
  • Act as a discreet and trusted liaison, helping streamline communication across the organization.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5–10+ years of experience in program management, business operations, project management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills; experience with dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams (e.g., HR, Legal, Workplace, IT, Operations).

The annual salary range for California is $126,000 to $234,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
